Thank You

I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve you, the city of Athens and the State of Georgia in the capacity of State Representative of House District 118.

I am especially thankful for my great and loving wife Gretchen, my hard working children Spencer III and Ruby, my extended family, my campaign team and all the volunteers who helped make this race a success.

Tuesday the voters in the 118th chose to move forward and turn the page to a new chapter in the story of Athens. As we face the future with renewed strength and great hope, we should always remember the road ahead will be long and sometimes difficult to navigate but in the end, we will make progress towards our goals.

Our beliefs and values come from the idea that all men and women are created equal and everyone deserves a chance to participate in the American dream of success and prosperity, of clean air to breath and clean water to drink and of quality education for all children.

My pledge to you is that I will work hard for our community and our state, I will not forget the reasons you have chosen to support me, and I will always strive to do the best work I can do and represent Athens the way we wish to be represented.
