What interested you most about the Spencer Frye Fellowship Program?
What interested me was how much the Spencer Frye Fellowship Program gives to the community. I really like how the fellows are given opportunities to gain experience in politics and community service.
What is your current role on the Spencer Frye team?
I am a freshman fellow.
What have you learned so far as a fellow?
I’ve learned about the power of teamwork especially with all the diverse talent tasks get done with care and efficiency.
What are your future goals?
Right now the goal is to get into UGA Law. I am also starting the transition from theatre to television so really excited about that venture. In terms of community, I am looking into more shelter options for the homeless.
What do you love most about Athens?
It gets really peaceful during the summer.
Favorite place in Athens, Georgia? Demosthenian Hall
Favorite movie? Prince of Egypt
What are your hobbies outside of school and the Fellowship program?
Dancing, baking, making music, light design, writing and playing with my dogs.
What is the last book you read? Can’t Is Not an Option by Governor Nikki Haley
Coffee or tea? Tea. Tea is relaxing and loving. Coffee reminds me of staying up until 4 a.m. working on assignments.
Describe your dream job. My dream job would most likely be a satirist. I love educating people through humor.
What has been your greatest experience during your college career?
Beating our rivals in a debate about whether The Olympics should end indefinitely. I was honored by getting Best Speaker for our team.
Why are you interested in politics?
My first goal will always be to help others. People are taught to not talk about politics, but it affects everyone. I want people to care, to be educated, and to vote.
Favorite quote.
“We are not liars but debaters.” Mr. Odom
